Although they have performed numerous times live, they never have recorded together until now. Ojeda's warm arrangement of the Thelonious Monk classic, "Round Midnight", was tailored to fit the sultry vocal talents of Theresa Hightower. Her satin voice, haunting tones and playful yet serious interpretation will sooth any listener. This cover actually does justice to the original also due in part to the arrangement and keyboard prowess of Ojeda Penn. Another soon to be Jazz classic. This song was composed after the events in Charleston that happened a few weeks ago. However the spirit of the song was also inspired by the recent deaths of African Americans at the hands of the police.
